We moved into our brand new school on Wednesday 6th January.
Clearly given the fact that the country had gone into lockdown 24 hours earlier this was not the start to the New Year at a new school that any of us would have wanted.
Staff had worked tirelessly before, during and after the Christmas holidays to get the building ready and we were also so excited at the prospect of welcoming all 310 Infant School children and their parents into the school as well as starting to planning an official opening. Unfortunately, this is neither possible or appropriate at the current time.
For those of you currently at home we really miss both you and your children. Please remember we are here to support you in any way we can.
Photos of the new building are below and videos of the school are also available using the link below.

In July 2019 a planning application was granted for Histon and Impington Infant School to relocate onto a new site on Buxhall Farm. Following the permission then granted by the secretary of state the new building was started at the end of October 2019.
It is anticipated that the Infant School will relocate at some point during the academic year 2020-21 and following this the school will look to change its age range to become a 4-11 through primary. At the same time Histon and Impington Junior School, which is also part of Cambridge Primary Education Trust, is looking to do a similar age range change.
The consultation is already open and is due to close on November 21st 2019.
Please find documents below related to the consultation.
Notes/suggestions available to all parents who came to the drop in session on 5th December are available below.
